The new Journal of the AMA (JAMA) edition is about Professionalism and Governance. It's loaded with great information about "Professionalism, Self-Regulation, and Motivation".
The five sections include Education and Professionalism, Board Certification and Lifelong Learning, Self-governance and Self-regulation, Professionalism and Employment, Perspectives on Medical Professionalism.
It's timely for the public also to be aware of what's happening to the medical profession.
