Christina Taylor Green: 9/11/2001-1/08/11

Flowing tears
Empty hearts
Sadness touches all
Nine years old
Child so bold
Never to grow tall

Tucson town,
Where sadness reigns
Child of 9/11
Taken from us
All today
With a killer's gun

Congress mourns
Parents cry
Everyone says, Why?
Did our
Christina Taylor Green
Get shot and fall and die?

  1. There is another one like Christina Taylor Green: Scott Calvin Dieter, the Angel of Copley, Ohio. Dieter was born in Russia and he was the adoptive son of a former United States Army Captain Craig Brian Eric and Beth Ann (Laufer) Dieter. The gunman of Dieter was shot dead by Ben (never "Benjamin") A. Campbell. Campbell said, "I am not a hero, I am just a policeman."

    1. Thank you for posting about my nephew and keeping his memory alive. He was killed when he was only 11 years old. Next week would be his 15th Birthday. My brother, who was also killed that day, would be 55 next week too. Praying for his mom and his other aunts and uncles. Praying for all the victim's families and friends. 8 people died that day and I still say Officer Campbell is a hero.

  2. There is an another principle: Keith Vincent Basinski. Basinski was shot dead while he was delivering from the UPS. Basinski was a born-again Christian and he loved Jesus and it was meant to be.
Dedicated to 29 years of service with United Parcel Service.
Basinski is of Polish, Belgian, and Greek origin. May his memory be eternal!
